Terms and Conditions of Service

Costs, Bookings and Confirmations
- Rates quoted are subject to change without prior notice.
- Bookings are subject to availability.
- Rates are quoted on a per vehicle basis in South African Rand (ZAR).
- Rates are a one way trip and are all inclusive of VAT.
- We are not allowed to exceed the certified amount of passengers per vehicle.
- All prices quoted exclude any parking related costs that might arise should the client request a driver to wait.
- A surcharge of R50 will be levied per additional stop en route and notice must be given at time of booking or 24 hours before transfer and not with the driver.
- A R50 surcharge will be levied for any transfers
between 19h00 and 07h00.
- All rates exclude trailer hire, baby chairs and personal goods insurance.
- If a trailer is required, an additional charge of
R100 will be levied per trip. Please indicate this
on your confirmation form.
- Children under 2 years of age can be provided with a baby seat, on request at a fee of R50 per service per trip. Please indicate this on your confirmation form.
- Children over 2 years of age are regarded as occupying a seat and will pay the adult fee.
- Bookings will be confirmed when 50% deposit is received and proof of payment is provided.
- Once the deposit and proof is received from the client, confirmation will be sent via fax, email or sms to confirm the booking and this will be within one working day.
- Full payment is required 24 hours before transfer and with short notice bookings; full payment is required before commencement of service.
- Method of payment is via EFT, direct bank deposit or credit card via Pay Pal.
- At this time we regret that we do not accept cheques.
Cancellations and Refunds
- There will be no refunds if a passenger fails to join a transfer.
- There is a 24 hour cancellation period and for any transfer not changed or cancelled 24 hours before the reserved time, a full cancellation fee will be charged.

- Refunds will be paid as follows:
- 0 – 1 day prior to departure – No refund will be paid
- 2 – 5 days prior to departure – a 50% refund will be paid
- 5 or more days prior to departure – a full refund will be paid
Punctuality and no-shows
- Our service may delayed for reasons beyond our control and so we request that clients wait 20 minutes after the scheduled transfer time, before making alternative arrangements. Therefore please ensure that we have a mobile number of one or more of the passenger(s), so we can liaise with them.
- It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure that adequate time is allowed to arrive at their destination.
- If your flight plans are changed (diverted or delayed), we request that you contact us on the following number, 082 050 3620.
- If a flight is delayed or arrives earlier and we
are informed of this, then we will monitor the situation
via information provided by the Airport Company of
South Africa (ACSA) and accommodate the change. (But
we cannot be held responsible for incorrect information
provided by ACSA.)
- If there is a no-show by the client then the full booking fee will be charged and no refunds will be paid.
- If the driver is required to wait longer than 15 minutes after the scheduled transfer time, then a charge will be levied.
- We request that any changes to your itinerary or route must be made with ZA Shuttles directly and not with the driver.
- Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, our service(s) may be delayed or cancelled without prior notice. ZA Shuttles, their employers, agents associates and any other person indirectly in the employ or in service of ZA Shuttles cannot be held liable for any damage, loss, accidents, injury, death, delay or inconvenience to any person or their belongings. ZA Shuttles reserves the right to refuse to undertake the transportation of any passenger(s).
Luggage
- Passengers are allowed to take onto a service one suite case per passenger and any additional luggage must be conveyed to the booking agents, at the time of booking. Unless prior arrangement was made when booking, we shall have no obligation to carry luggage in excess of the permitted amount.
- Unaccompanied luggage will not be carried and we request passenger(s) kindly carry their personal luggage to the vehicles.
- ZA Shuttles will not be held liable for any incidents whatsoever, to your luggage or personal items.
- ZA Shuttles carries no responsibility for loss of damage to a passenger’s luggage or personal belongings and we recommend that you take out travel insurance from your insurance provider.
Health and Safety
- ZA Shuttles are committed to passenger safety and each vehicle is insured with passenger liability insurance. Our vehicles are maintained to high specifications and are inspected daily by management to ensure your safety.
- All drivers under the employ of ZA Shuttles have a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) and this is only obtained after they pass a medical examination and a Police clearance certificate is granted.
- The driver has at his discretion the right to refuse any client who in his/her opinion is a danger to himself, other passengers or the vehicle. (ZA Shuttles reserves the right to refuse admission to any of our services, where it may hinder the Health and Safety of fellow passengers, in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.)
- Smoking on our services or excessive intoxication by use of alcohol or drugs is NOT permitted and passengers will be refused boarding at the sole discretion of the driver. In the event of the passengers being refused boarding, the passengers will forfeit any right to a refund or compensation.
- With exception of trained guide dogs accompanying a visually impaired passenger, no animals will be carried on a ZA Shuttle service.
- Unless accompanied by a responsible adult, ZA Shuttles will not be obliged to carry any children less than 13 years of age.
Privacy
- At ZA Shuttles we completely respect your privacy and shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of our clients. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion Of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
- ZA Shuttles will never rent, sell or give away your name, email or address to a third party. We will however use your email address to correspond with you about your bookings and information from ZA Shuttles.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
